This project comprises of a renovation and extension to a private listed property on the outskirts of Hexham. The Client wanted to convert the existing garage into an additional living space, utility and wc. The new extension is in keeping with the character of the existing house except for a contemporary glazed link connecting the existing house and the garage.
The building is built from stone, with a slate roof and timber sash windows. The palette of materials for the new interventions are intended to clearly articulate new and old elements.
+3 Architecture have provided a full range of architectural services including visualisation and interior design.
